On Thursday June 27th 2019, Interchem and PharVet staff will be doing a 2 hour trek through the Dublin Mountains at Tibradden Wood. The purpose of this trek is to raise necessary fund for an excellent charity called My Canine Companion.
Interchem supports the wellbeing and health of animals. Our staff are also passionate about their own animals and see the value they bring. It made sense for us to support a charity like My Canine Companion who trains service dogs for children with autism and asperger’s.
You can watch our 1 min video on our charity initiative for My Canine Companion by clicking here https://youtu.be/UYZ98-JlEQI
My Canine Companion is the largest training provider for service dogs in Ireland of all the Irish service dog charities, training two thirds of the autism service dogs that work in Ireland. It costs €10,000 to train a service dog and takes two years. My Canine Companion receives no government funding, relying completely on fundraising and donations. For more information on the charity check out www.mycaninecompanion.ie
We are pleased to be able to support My Canine Companion and would be grateful if you can sponsor us by either visiting our donation page where you can donate online www.idonate.ie/InterchemMyCanineCompanion using visa, mastercard or Laser card securely and funds go directly to My Canine Companion Or forwarding a cheque made out to My Canine Companion to Interchem.
The staff at Interchem took part in a fun charity walk for the Motor Neuron “Dance while you Can” campaignduring the summer in aid of Motor Neurone Disease research. This special walk took place around the stunning Blessington Greenway. Interchem raised €800.
The staff at Interchem and PharVet walked 10km on 3rd July along the Dublin Mountain Way raising over €1,500 for the ISPCA. Donations came in from all stakeholders including suppliers, staff, family and friends and the walk proved to be a real team exercise as both field and office based staff took part.
Interchem is delighted to be associated with the Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA) in its valuable work rehabilitating dogs that have been rescued. The ISPCA National Animal Centre in Longford is using Interchem’s PRO PAC super premium dog food to help dogs regain their strength after they have been rescued from cruel situations.
